Ann taught kindergarten and first grade at Central Elementary in Yukon. She loved the children and could be seen many times during recess sitting on top of the monkey bars. After teaching, she helped her husband run their oilfield business. Ann was the backbone and driving force behind all the businesses in which she and Mike were involved.
After retiring at an early age, Ann enjoyed spending the winter months in Tucson Arizona. She enjoyed golfing, crafting, swimming and simply “piddling” at their winter home. She was always ready to come home after their 4 months in Arizona and see her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed life with family and friends.
Her hobbies included traveling, spending time at the lake, golfing, playing bridge with the same ladies for over 45 years, and reading. She was active in Alpha Delta Kappa, Art League, served as Cub Scout Leader and spent many years as a Sunday School teacher.
Ann is survived by her husband of 58 years Mike McKee; her son Mike McKee Jr and wife Tammy, daughter Misha Yancey and husband Alan; four grandchildren, Mike McKee III, Kiley Mixon and husband Jeremy, Caitlin Villalobos and husband Matthew, and Allyson Yancey; three great grandchildren, Cohen, Adalynn and Gavin Mixon; sister-in-law Beth Eby; niece Nicole and her son Thomas Eby.
