Emma Dawn and Heather Margaret grew together in their mother’s womb, kicked together, held each other, comforted each other, and joined the angels together on the day of their birth, February 10, 2019 in Oklahoma City. Their parents, Jessica Dawn (French) and Andrew Michael Loverude, were beyond ecstatic to welcome twin girls into their family. Brother Harlum, named after Great-Grandpa Harlum, was proud to be an older brother and couldn’t wait to show his baby sisters the ropes in the Loverude house. Jessica makes an impact as a stay at home mother and was preparing to nurture her sweet girls with the same kindness as her son. Andrew was a little nervous to add not one, but two girls to the mix – as he was used to growing up with a brother and raising his own boy Harlum. Jessica and Andrew are thankful to have supportive family, loving friends, and a close community to give them encouragement during this difficult season. They appreciate the love and prayers from the family of First United Methodist Church in Yukon. Emma Dawn and Heather Margaret were greeted in heaven by Great-Grandparents Harlum and Eunice Ydstie, Ronald Loverude, Al Erikson and Gerald Skaggs. Those who wait patiently to hold them again include their parents Jessica and Andrew; brother Harlum; Grandparents Debbie & Sam Hoisington, Michael & Susan Loverude, and Rodney French; Great-Grandparents Mary Skaggs, Peggy Clark, and Jan & Bob Schaff, and Aunts and Uncles Melissa & Tommy Challis, Sarah Cook, A.J. & D’Ann French, and Erik & Meghan Loverude. Though Emma and Heather were not here long on this earth, they have left an imprint in the lives of those who loved them. A service to remember them will be held Friday, February 15th at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Yukon. They will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK following the service. Services are officiated by First United Methodist Church Senior Pastor Greg Tolle and under the direction of Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
