Bill was a good salesman, who became a better friend. I always enjoyed our conversations, be it business, the good ole days, or politics.

I was probably one of his last "sales" calls he made. He had just gotten out of the hospital, already retired from OSD, and just showed up at my business. He was quite frail, and I asked him what he was doing driving up to Enid? I believe his exact words were, "I just had to get out of that darn house"! We talked awhile and when he got ready to leave he asked if OSD was still treating me ok. I can still call and chew them out if they're not! Rest in peace Bill, I will miss our weekly chats...…...
